~ Did you know that The Paul O'Grady Show brought back Takeshi's Castle for their own special challenge, on the 9th May 2007? Vernon Kay was guest hosting so Paul set him a special 'Keshi challenge.

~ Did you know that Takeshi's Castle was aired in Portugal around 1992? There it was called "Nunca digas banzai", which in English means "Never say Banzai".

~ Did you know that Nintendo's game 'Donkey Konga' sponsored Takeshi's Castle on Challenge for 6 weeks, from October to November 2004?

~ Did you know in the 90's a Taiwanese version of Takeshi's Castle was made? It was called '100 Wars 100 Victories'. This was mainly the same show as 'Keshi, but there were a few differences:
- The aim of the show wasn't to storm a castle.
- The contestants were made up of five teams of 20 people.
- Contestants can get 'kidnapped'.
A few games were also slightly different. For example, in the 'Honeycomb Maze' or 'Devil's Mansion', the guards didn't have black paint and just threw the caught contestants int othe water straight away. In Taiwan this game was called 'Beelzebub Labyrinth'.

~ Did you know the Monster Special aired on 2nd October 1987 in Japan?

~ Did you know that the Show Down with carts started in Japanese episode 5? There were 6 different sets of Show Down carts:
The first were plain with clear plastic 'bubbles'. The guards had pink carts and the contestants had yellow.The second set was insect themed. The guards had beetle carts and the contestants had bee carts. The third set of carts were sea themed. The guards were in shark carts, Takeshi was in a pirate ship and the contestants were in whale carts. The forth set of carts were a red and white futuristic design. The fifth set appeared in Japanese episode 75. They were the same futuristic design, but instead of them all being red, they each were a different colour. The sixth set were again the futuristic design, but this time they were fitted with laser sensors. The lasor Show Down started in Japanese episode 88. When the lasor carts Show Down came the General had a chance to take part in his own red, gold and black futuristic cart! In the first lasor Show Down the count was defeated!

~ Did you know that Bridge Ball was developed from Rope and Wipe Out was developed from Fish Food?

~ Did you know that in Go Nuts (Avalanche-type version) the contestants were wrapped in firewood?

~ Did you know that Water 'Back Side' Sumo was only played once - which was in the Second Japanese Woman's only special?

~ Did you know that Leap Frog was only played in Japanese episode 9, in which 54 contestants won it and only 2 contestants lost!?

~ Did you know the Giant Maze was the first game played in Kyoto in the Japanese 1987 New Year Special?

~ Did you know that water was added to the outside of the Square Maze in Japanese episode 9?

~ Did you know about Animal:
